Independent Australian software studio
Calm, careful apps for the jobs that matter at home.
RDCP Software builds simple, dependable tools for busy families. Our first app, Dosearoo, helps parents keep track of their children’s medicines — what was given, when, by whom, and when the next dose is allowed.
Every dose, every child, in one place.
When a little one is unwell, it’s easy to lose track of who had what and when — especially at 3 am, or when two parents are sharing the load. Dosearoo keeps a clear record for each child and tells you when the next dose is allowed. It looks and works the same on iPhone and Android.
What Dosearoo does
A medicine library you can scan
Common children’s medicines are built in. Scan the barcode on the box to find one, or add your own.
Doses from the label, confirmed by you
Where the label doses by weight or age, Dosearoo points to the matching row. Nothing is saved until you’ve checked it against the box.
Too-soon warnings
Warns when a dose comes before the minimum gap, or would go over the label’s limit for the last 24 hours.
Reminders, your way
As many reminders as a medicine needs, each with its own label and switch. Quiet hours, and a nudge if a dose isn’t logged.
Who gave what
Record whether Mum, Dad or Nan gave each dose. Corrections keep the original, so the history stays trustworthy.
Temperature and symptoms
Note a temperature or symptoms with a dose, or on their own, to see how your child is tracking.
History for the doctor
Export a child’s dose history and health notes as a PDF to print, or as a spreadsheet file.
Courses with an end date
Set a last day and reminders stop on their own. Finished medicines move to Past medicines with their history.
Private by design
Your family’s records stay on your phone.
No account, no sign-up and no internet needed. Your children’s details and dose history are stored only on your phone.
Keep a backup file wherever you like — iCloud Drive, Google Drive or email — and restore it on a new phone.
The one exception: if you scan a barcode that isn’t in the library, just that number is looked up online to help name the product.
And for those late-night doses, there’s a dark mode that’s easy on tired eyes.
A record-keeper, not a doctor
Dosearoo helps you record what you’ve given. It isn’t medical advice. Always follow your doctor, pharmacist or the medicine label. In an emergency, call 000. For poisoning or overdose concerns, call the Poisons Information Centre on 13 11 26.
About us
Small software, built with care.
RDCP Software is an independent studio based in Australia. We make focused apps that do one job well, look the same on every phone, and are easy to trust with the things that matter.
Dosearoo is our first product. It started with a simple question every parent has asked at 3 am: “When did they last have something?”
Questions, feedback or partnerships?
